The All in one BT608 battery tester is nice tool but who the H@ll wants to drop that kind of money for a tester if you aren't upselling batteries all day long? What happened to that basic BT506 you run off a Smart Phone App?
On second thoughts with all this Big Tech information monitoring and censorship going on , I would be more interested in getting this tool if the App that runs this device could just be incorporated seamlessly into my Maxi Sys Tablet like the Autel Maxi Scope and Digital Inspection Apps (and not require your  Maxisys  tablet to have an active update subscription for it to continue to work)

Well it looks like a recent Autel Update puts a new Battery Tester App on the MaxiSys Tablets for the long awaited BT506 battery tester that I think communicates by WIFI direct or Blue tooth, I believe it should become available in the USA sometime in March. Hopefully lives up to expectations.

I purchased the BT506 to be used with my MS906BT as the latest update has the function enabled, and the sales info claims it will test batteries, starting, and charging systems.  So far, I have only been able to perform the "out of vehicle" battery test.  Says I need to connect the VCI, which I have the one that comes with the MS906.  It does not recognize it for the battery testing, works fine for diagnostics.  Is this feature coming, or did Autel mislead in their advertising and force me to "upgrade" to the BT508?  Not a happy customer at the moment.  There was no real documentation that came with it either.

I was going to buy a BT506 but haven't seen a good Demonstration of it being used off a MaxiSys on you tube yet. I am thinking that it might work if the battery tester App was simply accessible from the home page with the MaxiSys App closed out like the MaxiScope App is. Then in settings (BT) pair the BT506 to the Tablet , then open the  Battery Tester App.

You should look under the settings app, and connect to the bt506 directly via
    Bluetooth.

     Hi
So your autel needs to be active prescription to work?
If it runs out does it disappear or not work?
I have a mk908 will the apps be next to my scope icon?
    Thanks
